Daiba 1-chome Shopping Street, located on the 4th floor of the Seaside Mall in DECKS Tokyo Beach, is a tourist area themed on the nostalgic Japan of the Showa 30s and 40s. Retro signboards, candy stores, and shopping streets everywhere you turn will make you feel like you have stepped back in time to the good old days of the Showa period.



There is no admission fee, so just wandering around the area will be enjoyable enough.

The first thing to check at the Daiba 1-chome Shopping Arcade is the entrance gate. On the west side of the Seaside Mall, at the top of the escalator next to Joypolis, there is an arched sign that reads "Daiba 1-chome Shopping Street.

The area around the gate is lined with colorful neon signs and Showa-style posters, and visitors should be able to fully appreciate the retro Showa atmosphere.

If you capture the gate from the front, you can take a picture that looks like a scene from a movie. It is also recommended to take pictures with the "Haikara Yokocho" candy shop by the gate in the background.

Located in the Daiba 1-chome shopping arcade, "Oho Ichiba" is a general merchandise store that carries a wide variety of goods and sundries in many different genres.
